Thanks for stopping by to hear some more of the heart behind Built for Love. I'm Aaron, originally a Florida native but now after a decade of travel in Europe, my journey has brought me to Western North Carolina. The mountains have always offered deep romance, adventure, and a feeling of home for me. My life experiences have led me to build this platform to host, hear, and see men in their journeys and help them develop into their full potential. My approach is that I want to meet you where you are at - there is always space to be where you are but also there is space to growth into your full potential. I'm excited to get to know you and help support you on your path.
My Story
I grew up a good boy in the religious community but quickly realised that my calling in life was about much more than religion. My passion for adventure, connections, experiences, and depth helped me choose a path less traveled. I have always been deeply connected to the men in my life and my sensitivity as a person often helped me bridge the gap between the masculine and the feminine. I was always very in tune with the needs of others and have always been seen as a trusted person in my community. After a significant relational crisis, I retreated to the mountains of Colorado to focus on healing rejection and abandonment wounds. During this time, I also began to see the deep need within society for the resurgence of a strong, humble, and truly masculine presence in the world. I often saw and heard the longing within the hearts of the men (and the hearts of the women with them) in my life that they wanted more - more presence, more courage, more space to hold chaos. I began to deeply admire the men that were sages - present, stable, and offered a robust container for intimate connections.
My life has been shaped by my willingness to live with an open heart and to be about loving well no matter what. I've also always been missional and I have never stopped wanting to build a place of abundance, spaciousness, and wellness. I've always been able to see we are facing a crisis in society and that the healing between the masculine and the feminine is so paramount to creating the spaces where we all can thrive. I almost lost heart in this pursuit but felt a pull from God to step into my authority and calling. I believe that when men are in their strength and and when women are in their beauty, we can see the deep union that is meant to bring great healing to the world. Men are designed to be protectors and this includes many things but a commonly forgotten trait is that of play. Personally I've always emphasised play as a key value. Play, joy, and delight are key for the health of the heart and I believe that men have a role to protect play and hold it as scared and deeply necessary. Men particularly are needing to re-define what it means to be strong, secure, stable, engaged, tender, motivated, and powerful. I'm believing and praying for a resurgence of healing so that men can be there to hold and lead in the way that they were designed to. This container is what creates a vibrant, safe, and inclusive house for many to dwell and experience home.
